Abstract

In the current context of rapid technological evolution, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) face the challenge of preparing students for the demands of an increasingly digitized world. Mindfacture, as a process of creation and production using the mind, has emerged as a powerful tool to drive innovation and creativity in different fields. This article investigates the specific challenges that STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) HEIs will face when incorporating mindfulness into their educational programs. Key aspects are analyzed, such as the updating of study plans, teacher training, infrastructure, and the necessary technological resources. In addition, strategies, and recommendations for overcoming these challenges are explored to fully reap the benefits of mindfacture in 21st century education.
