Abstract

The study focuses on the standardization and improvement of processes in the training department of the paperboard industry, highlighting the strategic importance of these practices in the context of digital transformation. It highlights the application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) as catalysts for innovation and efficiency, enabling adaptive and personalized learning. A holistic approach is adopted that integrates technical and human aspects, emphasizing the active participation of all members of the organization to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and align efforts with strategic objectives. Systems theory is used to address the complexity of process standardization and improvement, considering the organization as an integrated system. An operations system is proposed that establishes policies and procedures based on best practices and current tools to improve the management of personnel training. This system is implemented through a strategic approach and data collection through direct observation and expert panels, integrating all the information in the General Operations System (GOS) to consolidate and coordinate information, methods and procedures, strengthening the support to the continuous improvement cycle.
